THE INN AT SUNSET CLIFFS
Alina and Aaron’s wedding day was magically delicious. I do realize that’s actually the slogan for Lucky Charms cereal, and I also realize this may in fact sound a little odd, but it also accurately describes so much about Alina and Aaron’s Sunset Cliffs Wedding! When I say delicious, of course I’m talking about the amazing dessert table they had on display along with the tacos and craft cocktails, but I’m also talking about the delicious stuff that wedding photographers drool over like florals, wedding dresses, details, and light!
All week the forecast called for cloudy skies and a chance of rain, but the day came and the weather was absolutely gorgeous! Just like Alina and Aaron! Alina made such a stunning bride! Her dress was so unique and truly one of a kind, just like the bride herself. She was full of laughter and joy all day and it felt so easy to just be in presence. Aaron on the other hand was looking like he came straight from a GQ magazine shoot to the alter. The hair, the bowtie, the debonair smirk, it was all straight out of a James Bond movie and I was so there for it! These two make the most adorable couple and their vows were so true to who they are!
Here’s a few Fun Facts about Alina and Aaron (you know I love my Fun Facts):
- Alina is a professional dancer so their first dance was the stuff legends are made of! (More on that later.)
- Alina is a huge fan of the show Friends and Aaron makes fun of her for laughing so hard at the TV because he doesn’t understand how it could possibly be that funny.
- They weren’t even interested in each other until like the 5th time they met because Aaron thought Alina’s roommate was trying to steal his friend’s wallet, side Fun Fact, she wasn’t!
Alina and Aaron were so great in front of the camera! They are truly the kind of couple you could photograph all day. Which leads me back to Fun Fact number 1, the First Dance. You. Guys. I have never in ALL my years witnessed a better first dance! Alina and Aaron waltzed in perfect time to Frank Sinatra’s It Had To Be You and there wasn’t a face in the crowd that wasn’t grinning from ear to ear. The guests and I were filled with pure joy and excitement watching them glide across the dance floor together. They could have seriously auditioned for Dancing with the Stars with this performance. I couldn’t stop taking pictures, I mean, I know that’s literally my job, but I had to capture every second of this dance so I could remember it forever! I just had to set my camera down at the end so I could join in the applause. I was so impressed! I think I actually squealed!
The Inn at Sunset Cliffs was such a cute wedding venue and really just perfect for these two. Gorgeous ocean views all around and truly the ideal spot to have a cliffside wedding. I’m so thankful that I got to be a part of their wonderful wedding day! Here’s to you Alina and Aaron, may your future be filled with laughter and love and may every dance be as great as your first.
